About Us
HEAVEN'S ECHOES
The members of the group all have a love for traditional Bluegrass and Bluegrass Gospel music and that is evident in their song selection and arrangements. The group enjoys taking classics from the Bluegrass Masters such as Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs and the Stanley Brothers and adding their own touch to them. They also study the close harmonies and smooth instrumental work of newer bands such as Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver, Rhonda Vincent and the Rage and IIIrd Tyme Out. Naturally, Heaven's Echoes draws spiritual and musical inspiration from Bluegrass Gospel groups such as the Lewis Family, the Primitive Quartet and Paul Williams and Victory Trio.
Larry Stancil
Larry is guitar player for the group & plays a 1985 D-35 Martin guitar. He is also the lead singer & manager for the band. He handles the bookings & also is responsible for getting us where we need to go safely & on time. Larry played electric bass & sang tenor with a Southern Gospel group for fifteen years. In 2004, he became a licensed minister of the Gospel.
Karen Stancil

A NOTE FROM OUR PASTOR
"It is with great pleasure that I recommend to you Heaven's Echoes to come to your church to lift up the Lord Jesus Christ. The music, testimonies, and the Word of God that they share are always encouraging and heart-warming. This group loves Jesus! They have been given amazing talents that they are using for the glory of God!
I have been Larry and Karen Stancil's pastor for the past nineteen years. They are faithful to the Lord and to His church. Their goal is to help the saints of God and see the lost come to Christ. Any church or group that has Heaven's Echoes will be blessed."
In Christ,
Rev. David Blizzard; Pastor, Oakdale Baptist Church, Townville, SC
